Collection: Handwriting
Everyone's handwriting is a little bit of a portrait. The way someone crossed their sevens, or never quite closed their o's, or signed off the same way on every card for forty years.
Send me a photo or scan of something they wrote — a recipe card, a signature, a note left on the counter, the last birthday card — and I'll stitch it exactly as it is. Not a font that looks like handwriting. Theirs.
These go on handkerchiefs most often, though the writing can go on other pieces too. Some are memorial keepsakes. Plenty aren't: a grandmother's recipe in her own hand, vows on a wedding handkerchief, a kid's first attempt at their own name. Made to order in Colorado, with a proof before I stitch.
